Today we’re happy to announce new enhancements to the Wealthbox CRM integration with our partner, Orion Advisor Services, related to search and linking client records. This integration upgrade will improve client record matching between Wealthbox and Orion, make “account ownership” more clear when viewing Orion information on a Wealthbox household.
Improved Orion Client-Matching for Households
We improved the way clients from Orion match to Households in Wealthbox:
- A Household email is no longer required to match to Orion. As long as family members match to an Orion client (name + email or phone) you’ll see their account info in the Orion tab on a Wealthbox household page.
- Instead of rolling all accounts into one long list, Wealthbox now groups account lists by family member.
- You can access Orion Connect by clicking on the “Open Orion” button, which will Single-Sign-On to Orion from Wealthbox.
Search and Link Orion Clients within Wealthbox
Orion users can now search for Orion Clients and link them directly to contacts in Wealthbox.
Wealthbox automatically links Orion Clients to contacts based on their name, phone number, and email address. However, let’s say you have a contact in Wealthbox, but you’re not seeing any account information from Orion — maybe you haven’t added an email address yet, or their name doesn’t exactly match.
Now, instead of having to input or update any information, you can search for the Orion Client directly from the Wealthbox contact.
Once you find them in the search results, simply click “Link Client”, and that Orion Client’s accounts will be linked to Wealthbox.
Every time you visit the contact page and click the Orion tab, that client’s account information will display.
If you’d like to unlink any Orion Clients from a contact in Wealthbox, simply click “Manage Orion Clients” and then “Unlink Client.”
Pro Tip: While Wealthbox automatically aggregates Orion accounts for family members on a Household in Wealthbox, you can link additional clients directly to the household. Simply search and link.
